One of the earliest adventure playgrounds to be opened in London, Lollard Street was first established in 1955 and saved from closure in 2013 when the Kennington Association took over from Lambeth Council. Since then the playground has won coolest place to play to play at the London Adventure Play Awards twice and developed a Healthy Eating project, Bike Hub and Homework club in addition.
